D & J Construction is a locally-owned, family-run company founded by Jose Navarrete. Jose embarked on his construction journey at the age of 16, gaining invaluable experience working summers alongside his father. Under his father's mentorship, Jose established his own framing crew by the age of 21. Initially specializing in framing for new homes, he navigated the challenges posed by the housing market collapse in 2008, a turning point that prompted him, like many others, to pivot his focus. Upon obtaining his contractor's license, Jose transitioned to remodeling and construction, a decision that has proven successful and enduring.

Maintaining a strong familial bond, Jose's father remains an integral part of the company, contributing to a combined experience of over 50 years in the construction industry. Grounded in family values, D & J Construction embodies Jose's personal ethos, and he takes great pride in the company's workmanship.
